Benin City, Nigeria— The Ehi Centre played host to an engaging and insightful business seminar on the theme “Get it Big,” drawing a diverse group of professionals and aspiring entrepreneurs to its venue at 11, Commercial Avenue, Off Ikpokpan Road, GRA, Benin City, on June 3, 2025.
The seminar featured three dynamic facilitators—Dr. Godwin Ehigiamusoe, Dr. Etiopiodiok Joshua James, and Mr. Charles Iyudubie, who led interactive sessions on scaling businesses, building sustainable brands, and navigating the challenges of modern entrepreneurship. Each session was loaded with practical strategies, motivational insights, and real-life success stories aimed at empowering participants to elevate their business pursuits.
Opening Formalities: The seminar commenced with an opening prayer led by Dr. Godwin Ehigiamusoe. Attendees included business owners and entrepreneurs seeking to grow and develop their enterprises.
Module One: “Savannah ”Land”—Lessons from Nature
Dr. Ehigiamusoe used the metaphor of the Savannah Land to explain that growth depends not only on external factors but also on internal decisions, commitment, and governance. He stated, “To get it big, one must make a strong decision and commitment to growth.”
Barriers to business growth were explored, including weak governance structures, limited capital and liquidity, poor financial management, inadequate HR, and negative attitudes. Participants actively contributed, citing mentorship gaps, fear of risk, and ineffective marketing as additional issues.

His emphasis remains that getting the money for the business is the easiest part, and anyone can become BIG.
Business Ethics and Values Facilitator: Mr. Charles Iyudubie Mr. Iyudubie focused on the 7 ethical pillars for sustainable growth: loyalty, duty, respect, selfless discipline, honor, integrity, and personal courage. His session was a resounding call for values-driven leadership in business.
