Omoruyi Aigbe
Omoruyi Austin Aigbe is a committed actor in the civil society landscape.
His interest spans gender equality and equity; democracy and development; political participation and electoral integrity.
His research interest has been on how disinformation created online, influences wider debates and discussions in the mainstream media.
He has been actively involved in the promotion of inclusive democracy and governance, He has worked as Program Manager at the International Republican Institute (IRI), an American nonprofit organization committed to advancing freedom and democracy worldwide.
He holds a Master’s degree from the New York University (NYU)’s Robert F. Wagner, Graduate School of Public Service, specializing in international development – Public and Nonprofit Management and Policy.
He is a member of the International Public Service Association (IPSA) and Fellow, Ford Foundation International Fellowships Program (IFP).
