Tessa Obiageli Anota

Tessa brings two decades of experience into her role as a Development Specialist in the non-
profit sector. She specializes in Performance Management, Administration, Project
Management, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning and has a special interest in qualitative
research.
She has a specialised skill in pioneering and has extensive pioneering experience ranging from the
establishment of new organizations as well as projects. She also pioneered the Monitoring and
Evaluation (M&E) process and in the process, established a strong performance management
culture within the organization. She served as the Project Manager of Benin Medical Care
Limited, working with a team of consultants to build an International ultra-modern specialist
hospital.
Ms. Anota is currently a doctoral student at the University of Benin where she is studying Health
Administration with a focus on Performance Management. She also holds a Master’s in Public
Health Education (MPHE) from the University of Benin and a Bachelor’s degree from Lagos
State University. She also has a certificate in Health and Social Sciences Implementation
Research, from the School of Public Health, University of Ghana; a Certificate in Monitoring
and Evaluation of Donor funded Projects; a Certificate in Research Methodology amongst
others.
She is a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consulting, a Strategic and Performance
Management Consultant, a Member of the National Association of Evaluators, Nigeria, and a
seasoned Facilitator/Speaker.
